Seoul: Insadong street & Osegyehyang Veggie Restaurant

Assalamualaikum 💗

Lepas dah kenyang makan dekat Halal Kitchen, pusing pusing around Bukchon Hanok village. More like naik turun steep road and stairs. Wrong timing masa sampai the village as it were packed with loads of other people. Ramai tourist was normal kan? But that time it was extra packed with people. 

EVERY. CORNER. OF. THE. ROAD. 

So we cut the chase, change planned as we didn’t really enjoyed our time there. We opt visiting Insadong. According to the maps, it is just a walking distance from the village itself. Dalam 1KM +-. Cuaca sejuk, perut kenyang so we were more than happy to walk! Mind you if dekat Malaysia this will never happen. Haha. happened in seoul sebab sejuk! And the scenery around the area worth the walk. Gittew jawapan tourist 😜

Line store ada banyakkkk dekat seoul. Cute gila everything inside the store.

Roti poop! Haha sedap gils. Ada another shape yang lagi sebijik but I think this shape is enough lah. 😂

Singgah ssamziegil, ada banyakkk art shop. Semua kyeopta. Banyak rare art juga, but we didn’t pusing dalam building. We simply touch n go je masa ni.

Masa dekat sini kitorang cari tempat sunyi bawah tangga, level bawah sekali yang orang tak lalu untuk solat. Icha dah nervous time ni sebab sunyi sepi haha. Kenangan betul.

I tak sure la wheter we reach early, or on that day insadong street closed. It was like a normal street. Sebab masa nak balik pun takda popup store yang jual macam pasar malam along the street. Or insadong street memang macamni? Kecewa sikit lah hehe.

Sebelum balik, singgah makan dekat Osegyehyang Veggie Restaurant. I put it into our itinerary sebab it’s a vegan restaurant! So u can eat everything without worry 😊 Their signature dish here: jjajangmyeon.

I ada snap photos in front of it, bila cari balik tak jumpaaaaa. So, enjoy the video dekat bawah to get a clue about this restaurant oki? Comel sangat kedai ni, price wise a bit pricey lah. But once in a lifetime experience, why not kan?

These were what we ordered.

I tak ingat nama dish ni, but the taste was just okay. Sedap lagi Itaewon. I thought the taste will be quite similar but…. Lain gila. Haha.

And… jjangmyeon! Hubs tanya sedap ke? Takkan la nak kata tak sedap kan??? I said biasa je. hahaha alamak kantoi pulak bila husband baca ni nanti.

Banchan dia semua rare. tak pernah nampak before. I don't favour the taste 😅 tak tambah pun sebab tak berapa kena tekak

Masa ni energy level icha kemain tinggi sebab baru bangun tidur. Tasteless hot tea pun icha suka, tu muka kepochi la tu tengok orang sembang 😆

I think I pernah share here, how good Korean with kids kan? Masa kami on the way balik from Insa-dong by Subway, ada one stranger approach icha by waving at her. tapi icha kan takut orang, so icha menyorok haha. So that stranger approach my husband and I. I rasa dia baru balik kerja sebab pakai suits. We tried to have a conversation eventho macam ayam dengan itik. He did try his very best to speak in English. Lama jugak sembang about icha and his kid. Sebelum turun Subway, he gave icha something. Its 10K won mashaAllah. Rezeki icha. tahu tak icha beli apa?
