Seoul: Everland by public transport

Assalamualaikum 💗

Soooooooo.. Let’s go to Everland!

We opt to go by public transport sebab jimat. Or atleast we think it that way la. 😂

I think if you beli yang include pickup from your location is much better and hassle-free. After all we got priceless experience lah for sure. We gamble and we succeed! (gitu, macam pakar motivasi eh ko 😝). Tanpa Naver maps karam jugak sebenarnya hihi.

Jom i ajar cara pi Everland by public transport from Myeondong oki!

Depart from Myeongdong to Everland with 3 transportation (2 hours)

1) Subway
  • Take the Subway Line 4 at Myeongdong Station [Sadang direction]
  • Change to Subway Line 2 at Sadang Station [Seongsu direction]
  • Get off at Gangnam Station and leave thru exit 10
For subway part it will take around 45 mins journey with 14 Stops all together. Make sure to follow the right direction! If not, habislah your precious time yang you nak spent dekat Everland nanti :p

Fare: About 1,350 won (single trip)

Muka grumpy eh masing masing bangun awal, haha. Icha nak lena dah masa ni. Pukul 8 lebih dah tunggu bas. From hotel at 7 (6 am Malaysia time), we only had a light breakfast along the journey since breakfast hotel was not yet ready masa kitorang turun.

The view dari dalam bus. Masa ni dekat highway. I do bayang jam macamni sebab everyone pergi kerja, so I was happy thinking that Everland will be free from people. Tapiiiiii.. In your dream jelah haha.

2) Bus
  • Take the Bus number 5002
From here, you need to wait the bus dekat bus station yang ada at the middle of the road ya. Jangan tunggu dekat tepi macam kitorang, haha. dah bazir few minutes. It takes about an hour to reach there so please be prepared lah ya. Our conclusion riding bus in Seoul + Busan = bad experience. Rasa nak muntah, pening semua ada. Luckily icha slept all the way to Everland. There are about 9 stops sebelum sampai bus stop shuttle bas ke Everland. Berlarilah semua mencari shuttle bas haha. we rushed too but takleh laju sangat la since bawak stroller :p

Fare: About 2,600 won (single trip)

3) Free shuttle bus
  • Take a Free Shuttle Bus to Everland!
Ada one platform khas dekat area turun bas tadi. Masa ni berebut eh semua naik laju laju tak sabaw nak jumpa Everland. Haha. I think sebab ramai orang we didn’t get the seat. Ke dapat eh? Lupa dah. Tapi kejap je naik shuttle bus ni terus sampai Everland. I think dalam 5 mins dah sampai. Tapi get ready ya driver bas tu drive laju gila dah la bukan straight road. Another rollercoaster bus journey. Phew.

Sampai Everland main entrance, kitorang speechless.
MashaAllah Ramai gilaaaaaaa Manusia.

Masa ni entrance gate masih belum buka. So we lined up first. Ada banyak gila ya entrance gate, and every gate orang beratur panjang gila sampai belakang.

Oh boy, I was wrong when I thought weekday will be less people. 😅

Mostly yang datang were Korean. FYI its not even Public Holiday. Loads of students around the main entrance too so I bet mesti banyak school trip juga.

Proses nak verify tixs was also easy. Dapat QR code untuk scan masa entrance. Takda gelang or any kertas to wear dekat our wrist macam theme park Malaysia. Since we bought it from KLOOK, ada special counter for it. BUT PLEASE BELI XPRESS TICKETS IF TAK RUGI BESAR. PERCAYALAH. First thing that we regret was we didn’t bought that! If not mesti dapat jimat banyakkkk masa.

So, Everland best ke? Nanti I cerita lain oki!

Seoul: Subway apps yang best and efficient

Assalamualaikum 💗

Before I go further with the rest of the places that we went to, I think this entry will be the first one that I need to share with you guys.

IT’S SUBWAY APPS!

Definitely our very best friend sepanjang 13 hari dekat Seoul last October. Kitorang tak pernah sesat eventho the subway berselirat. Proud pulak rasa :p setakat tersilap pintu naik naik subway tu pernah lah. So kira ok la kut kan? 😝

Sebelum lupa, u need T Money untuk naik subway oki? If you purchase Discover Seoul Pass, problem solved. That card can be used as a T Money. If not, you can get it for free if u answer survey from KTO . But if u taknak jawab survey on the website, you can purchase it in Seoul! Banyak sangat choices for T Money. CUTE GILA EVERYTHING SIAP ADA SIZE SMOL SMOL. Mesti rambang mata nanti.

Perasaan paling best setiap kali naik subway was we reached the target destination!

Kalau tak silap I, ada 9 line all together. Setiap line ada banyak station. So for all 9 line ada hundreds of stations all together. Each station pula ada different exit which will lead you to different attractions. Pernah kami sampai one station ni (tapi tak ingat nak pi mana), yakin ikut exit lain padahal dalam itinerary dah siap siap tulis which exit. Kami dok ingatk semua sama. Rupanyaaaaa… karam ya. Haha. kena jalan jauhhhhh sebab dah ikut exit yang lain.

*happy baby dapat limau from stranger in busan subway*

Above photo during our trip to Busan. Masa ni pun pakai maps jugak. But if tak silap, busan subway ada the specific apps to use. I tak ingat whether apps yang i suggest dekat bawah ni can be use at busan ataupun tidak. Sorry...

So guys, untuk berjalan area Seoul….

YOU NEED TO INSTALL THESE TWO MAPS.

DEFINITELY A LIFE SAVIOUR I TELL YOU.

It shows which line nak naik, which to turun, and also which line to change. Siap ada pilihan nak ikut masa paling cepat or harga paling jimat.

We definitely chose:

Less line to change.

Since we brought stroller most of the time, this option definitely the best. Eventho it took a longer time than the usual trip, at least we don’t sweat much. Tapi kalau beza masa tu banyak sangat, we definitely opt for the other way round lah hehe.

Both maps ada in our phone but our preference were totally opposite.

My husband prefers Naver, I chose Metro Seoul subway.

The benefit of using Naver maps:

It works OFFLINE – definitely a plus point for someone yang rely on public wifi.

It works for other public transport too! - we used it untuk trip ke Everland which kena naik bas and subway.

Refer to the picture below, u can see the time and fee difference. Warna biru and hijau on line 4 and line 2 bukan saja saja tau, memang warna tu. u better follow it properly if tak u will sesat. There will be loads of cue/symbols around the subway to follow so u don't have to worry oki?

The benefit of using Metro Seoul Subway:

It works for my phone! Hahahah since naver maps takmau change in English masa i dekat korea 😑

I understand Metro Seoul interface better and I can understand it clearly. Plus tak complicated macam Naver. This apps pun dah siap tunjuk tambang and time for each trip. so u can estimate your journey from here. sometimes paling murah = paling less hassle. So u need to study the route carefully oki?

Ni contoh if u nak travel between these two destinations. Bila u klik search akan keluar best route for u to follow to reach the destination. Pilihla whichever suits u. if u ask me, I will opt for fewer transfers for sure, hehe.

Ini perbezaan antara pilihan route yang disediakan. Mestila we will go for route one kan? Paling dekat, paling murah and tak perlu transfer.

Ada a few other apps options for u to try. But these two are my recommendations for you guys to try it out later. If u use it for the first time, you definitely need some time to get used to it. Lama lama mesti sap sap soi settle! Trust me. Terus rasa macam local after a week 😜

So.. Give it a try oki?

p/s: Alahai rindunyaaaa Koweaaaa! Who knows in a few more years we will visit Korea again (dropping hint to husband) 💘

Discover Seoul Pass from KLOOK!

Assalamualaikum 💗

Its been so long since my last update on our Korea trip last October. Malam semalam suddenly masuk mimpi about it. Fuh nervous tau sampai masuk mimpi haha. To be honest banyak lagi info yang I tak sempat update about Korea trip. So yeah, here I am! Trying to squeeze my brain juice to remember all those last year trip infos. Hopefully once the border buka nanti, this entri will be beneficial to you guys 😀

For this time around, I nak share about Discover Seoul Pass!

We never knew that we can save a lot like a lot from the DSP. It cost us around RM 164.00 for 48 hours & we bought it from KLOOK. Ada 3 types of card, 24/48/72 hours. Mula mula we opt for 24 hours je sebab ingat sempat, nasiblah i tukar fikiran ambik 48 hours last minit sebelum beli. We thought this will be more than enough. oh boy, I was wrong. Should take the 72 hours instead.

Meh I share more info on DSP.

If u beli from KLOOK it will be a bit stress lah sebab u kena ada actual date u nak pergi bila. Stress for us sebab we go lama dalam two weeks and in between nak pergi Busan juga. So it took some time before we can finally decide. But if u memang dah ada itinerary, KLOOK definitely the best! Banyak boleh jimat if u beli thru here daripada kaunter.

DSP offered loads of attractions that we can go for free (free la sebab dah bayar masa beli mula mula kan? 😜). Percayalah, all the attractions sangat tempting ya. Among all of that, we chose the one yang near to each other/ attractions yang mahal which berbaloi to go 😆 Eventho namsan tower & wearing hanbok included in this, i tak include during my 48 hours. For me, I rasa membazir. Those activities took some time and murah. Which means if i guna for DSP i cannot go to banyak tempat haha. So i beli asing je walk in.

Oki jum i share attraction yang sempat cover with DSP.

1. Coex Aquarium Admission Ticket: RM 70.15

2. Running Man Thematic Experience Center: RM 50.00

3.  Lotte World 1 Day Pass: RM 115.75

4. SM TOWN Museum tickets + Theathre: 28,000KRW ~ RM 100 +-

We did a lot of discussion before the actual day. Was worth it? Was it child friendly? Were the attractions close to each other? We studied the map like thousand of times. Finally, we chose the attractions above. I puas hati la guna DSP, we save a lot. since icha pergi before she turns 3 years old, semua free for her.

Sadly tak sempat cover cruise sebab we were too hungry. Dalam lotte world takda halal food to eat during our visit. Rushing balik myeondong makan busan jib sambil gigil gigil lapo haha. Thought sempat cruising after dinner, tapi sebab terlalu penat balik tido terus 😂

Definitely, one of our best decision when we decided to purchased DSP. Worth it! 🌟

p/s: Nanti i will make a separate entry for each attraction yang I pergi InshaAllah.

p/p/s: For each DSP purchased, you will get complimentary AREX Incheon Airport Express One Way Train Ticket worth RM 26.59. Best kan?

JJCM: Ikan Bakar Usop Keramat

Assalamualaikum 💗

Lepas pusing pusing around Taman Burung for nearly 2 hours, kitorng lapar gilaaaaa T_T I asked my friend for some recommendation for places to eat and she asked me to try Mak Teh ikan bakar dekat area pasar Keramat/ Mee Kari and Nasi Ayam. Disebabkan we look for something heavy, we opt for ikan bakar. Dari Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur ambil masa dalam 15-20 mins untuk sampai. But kitorng salah jalan that day (guna waze pun masalah begini tetap berlaku ya u_u), so we reach a bit late.

Masa dalam perjalanan tu, rasa macam pernah lalu this area for few times. Bila ingat balik rupanya memang pernah lalu sini untuk ambik kek last year. Haha. mind you, we always use waze whenever we are out of our comfort area. Sebab nak cepat and takmau stuck jam kononyaaaa 😝

Sampai area Pasar Keramat masa peak hour. Kereta memang bersusun tepi jalan. Rezeki dapat parking ngam depan kedai. Tapi masa sampai tu kedai mostly tutup, bila jalan kebelakang area pasar tu baru nampak satu kedai ni ramai gilaaa manusia. Cumanya nama dia bukan mak teh, tapi usop. But the foods looks tempting. Ke sebab lapar ni? Haha. So we give it a try.

Memang full house, kami datang nasib ada meja kosong. lepas dapat seat, nampak people queue untuk makan dekat kedai ni. service laju, just sit down and the worker will come untuk ambil order. Masa dah duduk dekat meja baru perasan kedai mak teh dekat sebelah haha. Nasib tutup 😅

This was our menu on that day. Ni baru first round ye, kitorng bertambah nasi after that. haha.

Ada banyak choice of bakar bakar. kembung, tilapia, terubuk, ikan jaket, ikan pari. But we choose ikan kembung.

MashaAllah it was so good!

Manis gila ya ikan ni. Isi pun pejal. Puas hati makan ikan ni berdua. Jangan risau, cukuppppp! kitorng makan nasi bertambah pun ikan ni ada extra siap boleh ratah hehe.

Star of the day!

Sebagai peminat benda pedas, i bagi A. Meleleh hingus makan sambal ni. Puas hati siap bertambah sambal ni ceduk sendiri buat macam rumah sendiri haha.

Air asam pun sedap. Eventho tak pedas, but the taste was nice. Sedap.

Freshly masak atas api macamni straight to your plate. I rasa ni kut yang buat jadi bertambah sedap sebab makan panas panas.

Sebelum i lupa, main dish memang bakar je ya. Lauk lain yang ada cuma masak lemak ikan dan asam pedas ikan. But trust me, worth to try. Ambil kuah masak lemak no charge oki. Sedap pulak tu. Ulam je ambil sendiri, yang lain semua pekerja akan datang serve dekat meja.

Total for everything RM 19

Nasi RM2/ plate
Ikan kembung saiz besar RM 9 / pc
Ulam 3 ikat RM 1
Kopi ais RM 3/ glass
Free soup
Free sambal belacan dan air asam

I recommend you guys untuk cuba. Worth it! 😋

Nah info about kedai ni:

p/s: Tempat ni crowded, so make sure jaga jarak oki?

Review: Room and breakfast Red by Sirocco KL

 Assalamualaikum 💗

Last two weeks we went for a short staycation at Red by Sirocco hotel in Bukit Bintang area. Booked thru Traveloka and it was a smooth booking experience I can say. Among all, we choose this hotel sebab this hotel dapat 2020 Traveloka hotel awards winner (which make me fall for it in an instance) and it got 4-star rating inside the Traveloka apps.

I was so happy.

As I thought I made a great deal from it.

(baca sampai habis to know the whole story oki)

Our room card ft icha.

During check in, I was told the TV is not functioning. Bila i tanya pekerja tu , dia tak boleh nak explain in a proper way (dia cakap slow gila and I taktau dia mumble apa sebenarnya). I pula main teka teka apa dia cuba nak bagitahu, and lastly I heard he said ada maintenance for about one month. I tak tahu la what kind of maintenance yang melibatkan TV satu hotel selama sebulan. huhu.

Bila tanya about parking, he said parking untuk hotel takda tapi boleh parking depan hotel. Bayar RM 10 per day. I terus pandang pekerja tu. TV rosak? Parking also kena bayar?

I told my husband about TV and parking, speechless terus dia. TV rosak? Seriously?😓 --- we thought that will be the only problem. but... 😅

By the way..

Ni luaran hotel. Cantik kan?

These are some of the room photos:

The toilet.

TV ada, but we couldn't locate the plug. Penat fikir so we think maybe its inside the wall haha.

Some of the toiletries.

Coffee machine and tea. Ni la kut yang buat i tertarik masa booking.

Shower yang clog after few minutes mandi, nak tunggu air kering lama ya. Tried to call receptionist to report about this but the phone is not functioning. Yes....... even telefon pun tak berfungsi 😅

Katil dia besaq, I think king size. walaupun besar masihhhh icha conquer whole bed 😂

Oki ni sejuk sikit hati.

Ada working table juga, and this hotel provide balcony for each room. This one best sebab bila icha tidoq, kami dok luaq sembang sambil tengok scenery. 😀

For breakfast: We call for breakfast at 8am, but they said breakfast was not yet ready. Called a few times regarding breakfast and we got it at 10 am. The menu was English breakfast and it was just okay. Lama menunggu definitely not worth it ya if you purposely add in money for breakfast.

Definitely below my expectation.

I am a bit frustated with my staycation at this hotel. I tak tahu samada ni sebab COVID 19 tapi I berharap perkhidmatan hotel ni boleh diperbaiki lagi dimasa hadapan. One of the other reason I choose this hotel is because of their infinity pool. Sadly i tak sempat nak dip my toes there. So, I can only do my review on the room and the breakfast itself. But I heard there is a lot of good review about their pool Maybe you can give it a try?

p/s: Before booked hotel ni I baca banyak good reviews in the traveloka apps. Maybe it was my bad day. Dapat tv rosak, telefon rosak, breakfast lambat gila, shower clog, inquiry about iron tak di layan (Bila kami minta iron, they said we will get before 10 am. But we didn't get it until check out at 11 am.) and parking kena bayar. Phew 😅

JJCM: Milo Ketagih Puchong

 Assalamualaikum 💗

Last sunday balik dari hotel, we singgah puchong to bought something. Bila dah settle, my husband took out his phone and started to look for direction untuk balik rumah. I panggil my husband and I buat sengih ada maknaaaa.. He said nak pergi mana?  I told him lets go tapau something. He said to me "dah agak dah mesti nak singgah memana and asked me the name of the place.😂

Sebenarnya I suddenly craved for something sweet (no no bukan pregnant) eventho I tengah sakit kepala gila at that time. I googled for something sweet to eat (since that time tengah panas rembang) way way before sampai puchong and there were 2 spots in my list. Efficient bukan? 😋 From that two choices, I opt for Milo Ketagih and Laksa Telur Goyang. If you guys remember, ada satu masa ni this milo became a hype to everyone. Masa tu i pernah rasa sekali but it was just okay. Takda any spark for me untuk repeat balik. Suddenly last few days tekak teringin. Boleh gitu? 😆

Lokasi kedai ni betul betul sebelah Caltex Puchong yang ada family mart tu. MashaAllah setiap masa lalu sini but never knew about this kedai before. Ada dua menu dekat kedai ni. So I tapau one milo and one laksa.

Milo ketagih: RM 5 / Laksa telur goyang: RM 6

Each milo ketagih order got one big cup of milo concentrated like above. Seriously banyak gila ya, penuh one big plastic for takeaway.

See this. Each takeaway dapat one big cup of milo concentrated. i would say it worth my money.

This is the close up of the stall. Kedai ni bersih sangat. Amazed betul with how they take care of everything. if I were to sell this kind of menu, mesti melekit like everywhere. hehe. so kudos to them!

Kacang dan chocolate rice as the topping! Banyak betul diorng letak dekat atas milo ni. Sebagai peminat kacang, you win my heart gitu 😋

Masuk kereta i cepat cepat bukak and rasa. Hence no closeup picture for this haha. Definitely to my liking! Sesedap rasa when u mix everything together. Tak manis sangat pun. But since i suka makan without kacau all together, it became extra sedapppp! Serious. you should give it a try!

For penggemar manis macam i, I rate it 4.5/5 🌟

Waze: Milo Ketagih Puchong.

p/s: Laksa oso taste okay. I bagi 3.5 out of 5.
