JJCM: Ikan Bakar Bellamy

Hai korang, lama betui i tak buat entri santai santai macamni. Dah hilang di telan kemalasan nampak gayanya. But thankyou sebab keep on datang and read my entri oki. Rasa nak update blog datang membuak bila i tengok gambar makanan dalam laptop ni. haha. Makanya, without further ado, marilah i share one story dulu oki.

Last year on Dec tak silap, we went for short staycation dekat KL city. Macam biasa, masuk lunch perut pun dah lapo maka we we googled for the best place to eat for lunch. Ada banyak gila suggestions but we opt for ikan bakar jalan bellamy. Sebab ramai bagi good review. 

Sampai je the area, it was packed with cars dekat bahu jalan. Husband seperti biasa nak menyerah kalah since he didnt like crowded area. I pulak the other way round. Bila ramai buat i tertanya tanya was it good. was it worth it. So siapa yang menang? Mestila i! ....and we ate here  juga at the end 😝

Ada dua kedai sebenarnya. We opted for the one yang less manusia sikit and less messy. Biasala kan waktu lunch hour, makanan bersepah sana sini tapi bila boleh buat pilihan, ayuhla memilih hat lebih selesa. tak gitu?

Sebenarnya kedai ni pun ramai manusia.. But what do you expect kan? Weekend pulak tu. Maka, we waited for about 5 minutes or so before we secured a seat at an open space area. Makanlah kami ditemani angin yang sepoi sepoi bahasa.. gituh. 

Takdelah sepoi but takdelah suffocated.

Icha and acu enjoyed their lunch.

Ibu minum air kelapa sebab panas sangat, tapi macam biasa adela orang tu habiskan air ibu. Anyway.. Dekat sini sistem self service. Beratur ambik lauk, seat and enjoy your food. Nanti ada pekerja kedai akan datang kira sambil korang makan.

Nak ambik seafood, kena tunggu dekat this one area. Tengok la all the seafood dekat bawah ni. Terus rasa nak makan grilled seafood sekarang jugakkkkkkk, tsk tsk.

Dekat sini konsep dia, siapa sejenis cepat geli jangan datang dekat kawasan grill ni. Alamatnya korang taknak lunch terus. Haha. Messy sikit la around the area sebab never ending grilled session kan. Bila siap je grilled. semua orang dah sedia nak mulakan episod sambar menyambar. Kalau lambat sila tunggu next round. (Mengata diri sendiri) Haha.

Lepas menunggu, inilah hasilnyaaaa! 

I ambik ikan merah dengan ikan kembung. Harga tak ingat. Resit pun dah kemana mana perginya lupa nak simpan. Ikan fresh, manis dan pejal. Cuma sambal tak pedas at all for me. Sebagai peminat benda pedas, bila makanan tak pedas tu ada potong sikit lah rasa dia. Tapi kalau u tak kisah pedas tu, i think u might like it 😊 But for me;

Taste-wise: Okay.

Price-wise: Okay.

But all in all, it depends on your tastebud jugak. What works for me might not work for you. Apa yang i rasa tak berapa ngam pada i maybe ngam for you. Marilah kita raikan perbezaan pendapat gitew. Hehe.

Pavillion Steak & Grill, Bangi

We’ve been to this place twice; the first visit was with my friend and the second one was with my husband. Sebab sedap, within the same week terus ajak husband repeat makan. 

Never knew our taste bud love the foods here. It was sedapness.

I tak letak any expectation on the first visit tu sebab I pernah makan tempat macamni and it turn out to be frustrating. Harga lebih kurang with this restaurant. Tapi rasa dia sedih sungguh. Ordered carbonara for Icha, turned out they just reheat straight from the tin and put on the plate. Nak make it extra, they add some meatballs on the plate. That’s it. #sisemo :p

By the way...

Here is the menu yang we ate here.

1. Macaroni cheese Rm15.90

They make the gravy by themselves. Its cheesy but tak muak. So boleh makan banyak banyak. Icha suka, she even ate half of the plate. Tapi… Nampak macam sikit kan? Kitorang siap tapau bawak balik.

2. Mix platter grill RM 25.90

Combination of grilled chicken with lamb and rib eye. For sides ada coleslaw, mashed potato and corn in the cob. It comes with black pepper sauce as a gravy. I suka sauce dia, sedap. Tapi sebab set ni banyak sangat ingredients dalam plate, kuah dia cepat kering I guess.

3. Cheezy chicken chop RM 11.90

This one was ordered by my friend. I rasa sikit, and I sukaaaa. Untuk anyone yang suka deep-fried chicken chop you can try this menu. Tapi a bit confusing if you refer to their menu... dalam menu cheese sauce dia lain, bila sampai meja lain. But all in all, it was worth it. Portion besar, siap ada side dishes. 😊

4. Fettucine meatball carbonara RM 15.90

We ate this one masa datang with hubs. Since dah pernah try mac and cheese, we opt for this one pulak this time. Sedap macam biasa, gravy was made from scratch which makes me love it even more hehe. Meatball dia rasa biasa je, I rasa they add in readymade meatball into the plate 😊

5. Lamb chop RM 17.90

The lamb was just okay sebab some part of it was overcooked. Tapi kalau dapat part lembut tu memang ngam habis lah makan. Side menu dia sama macam mix platter gril. As usual, the gravy was good. Hubs approved the sauce too. 

6. Churros RM 9.50

Sedap gilaaa (1st time try) ! I makan this menu on both visits. The first time we tried, it was the bomb. Speechless kejap I makan haha sebab it was too good. So, on the second visit tu I order juga but sadly manis sangat. They overcoat the churros with sugar and cinnamon. I can taste mainly was sugar. frust sikit lah.. sebab haritu kemain i brag with him yang churros ni sedap gila 😂

Nanti if I come again, I ambik gambar kedai oki. dia shortcut to Bangi town. Dekat dengan Itik Salai Mashtar bangi.

JJCM: Ikan Bakar Usop Keramat

Assalamualaikum 💗

Lepas pusing pusing around Taman Burung for nearly 2 hours, kitorng lapar gilaaaaa T_T I asked my friend for some recommendation for places to eat and she asked me to try Mak Teh ikan bakar dekat area pasar Keramat/ Mee Kari and Nasi Ayam. Disebabkan we look for something heavy, we opt for ikan bakar. Dari Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur ambil masa dalam 15-20 mins untuk sampai. But kitorng salah jalan that day (guna waze pun masalah begini tetap berlaku ya u_u), so we reach a bit late. 

Masa dalam perjalanan tu, rasa macam pernah lalu this area for few times. Bila ingat balik rupanya memang pernah lalu sini untuk ambik kek last year. Haha. mind you, we always use waze whenever we are out of our comfort area. Sebab nak cepat and takmau stuck jam kononyaaaa 😝

Sampai area Pasar Keramat masa peak hour. Kereta memang bersusun tepi jalan. Rezeki dapat parking ngam depan kedai. Tapi masa sampai tu kedai mostly tutup, bila jalan kebelakang area pasar tu baru nampak satu kedai ni ramai gilaaa manusia. Cumanya nama dia bukan mak teh, tapi usop. But the foods looks tempting. Ke sebab lapar ni? Haha. So we give it a try.

Memang full house, kami datang nasib ada meja kosong. lepas dapat seat, nampak people queue untuk makan dekat kedai ni. service laju, just sit down and the worker will come untuk ambil order. Masa dah duduk dekat meja baru perasan kedai mak teh dekat sebelah haha. Nasib tutup 😅

This was our menu on that day. Ni baru first round ye, kitorng bertambah nasi after that. haha. 

Ada banyak choice of bakar bakar. kembung, tilapia, terubuk, ikan jaket, ikan pari. But we choose ikan kembung. 

MashaAllah it was so good!

Manis gila ya ikan ni. Isi pun pejal. Puas hati makan ikan ni berdua. Jangan risau, cukuppppp! kitorng makan nasi bertambah pun ikan ni ada extra siap boleh ratah hehe.

Star of the day!

Sebagai peminat benda pedas, i bagi A. Meleleh hingus makan sambal ni. Puas hati siap bertambah sambal ni ceduk sendiri buat macam rumah sendiri haha.

Air asam pun sedap. Eventho tak pedas, but the taste was nice. Sedap.

Freshly masak atas api macamni straight to your plate. I rasa ni kut yang buat jadi bertambah sedap sebab makan panas panas. 

Sebelum i lupa, main dish memang bakar je ya. Lauk lain yang ada cuma masak lemak ikan dan asam pedas ikan. But trust me, worth to try. Ambil kuah masak lemak no charge oki. Sedap pulak tu. Ulam je ambil sendiri, yang lain semua pekerja akan datang serve dekat meja.
