JJCM: Dimsum Buffet di Eastin Hotel PJ.

Kalini I nak share tempat makan sempena my birthday staycation last week. Kami makan buffet dimsum di Ee Chinese Cuisine di Hotel Eastin PJ. I ada baca banyak good review about this place, so i  ajak husband makan here. Parking free tak perlu bayar  since kami stay di hotel ni. Kalau orang luar yang datang mainly to eat, i think the parking fee mahal sikit.

Kalini i tempted untuk cuba makan dimsum di Eastin Hotel PJ pula. Please book early oki sebab walk in usually tak da kekosongan. I nasib baik a day earlier tu i pi turun bawah direct ke restoran ni. Niat di hati nak makan for dinner rupanya dimsum buffet available for lunch je. Mula mula tu dah fully booked jugak.. tp Alhamdulillah ada rezeki last minit sebab ada yang cancel booking.

Prawn dumplings

Verdict: Hat ni i tak sempat nak try sebab icha dah habiskan all by herself. But i guess mestila sedap kan sebab anak i boleh habiskan all? Try k!

keratan rentas dalam roll ni. I rasa ayam kut? 

Seaweed beancurd spring roll

Verdict: It was so good! I dapat roll ni masa tengah panas panas lagi. So memang puas hati lah masa i makan. I sempat makan seketui je,lagi dua husband i makan. He approved the sedapness as well. Try oki!

Stuffed dried fish maw

Verdict: Okay lah for me. Bahagian atas tu isi ikan and bahagian bawah is tofu. I dont fancy it but i can eat it. Gitu. 

Fried radish cake with duck egg & chives

Verdict: I tak sure what to expect from this dish sebab usually i jumpa all non halal. Ni first time i makan and i LOvEEEEeeee it! Sedappp. Boleh rasa char dekat radish cake as well. Finish all sekelip mata. Order oki!

Herbal Jelly

Verdict: Also dunno what to expect, but eager to try sebab selalu nampak dalam mall kedai chinese juai. SIapa pernah makan cincau? Ha tu rasa dia. With herbal smell and also bitter aftertaste. Can try kalau ada rasa curiosity macam i. Tak try pun takpeeee hehe.

Crispy chives prawn dumplings

Verdict: Sedapppp! Plus point is dumpling ni sampai panas panas. Kalau suka makan sayur this one wajib order oki. Penuh kucai je dalam dumpling ni. Sedap!

(ps to my husband: ada udang dalam ni, u eat two of this! 😂)

Chicken & Prawn Chee Cheong Fun

Verdict: Finger licking good! Ni menu yang wajib order. Satu pinggan sorang memang tak cukup. Husband makan chicken, he gives double thumbs up. Icha makan prawn also gives double thumbs up. Please give it a try oki!

Glutinous rice with chicken mushroom

Verdict: I DONT LIKE IT. Ada udang kering and the taste is weird. I pernah rasa dekat mohd chan which was nicer than this one. But kalau u suka udang kering, can try this dish oki.

Chilled Avocado with Mango puree

Verdict: Just the normal puree with fruits taste. Kalau tak suka avocado macam i, toksah order na. Mango tu sedap, icha habiskan. 

Chicken feet with black pepper sauce

Verdict: It was just okay. Lagi sedap kaki ayam dekat bangi hotel yang i rasa last two years. Hubs cannot tolerate this dish haha kesian dia. Maybe sebab ada weird smell sikit kut. Can try kalau suka kaki ayam. If not better try other dish oki.

Crispy veggie chee cheong fun

Verdict: It was so goood! Mula mula rasa sayur nipis nipis then u got that big mushroom chunk towards the end. So sedap! Recommended! Pls try!

Shanghainese Xiao Long Bao

Verdict: Sedap gila! Please la order banyak sikit this menu. Eat it in one bite, akan rasa letusan kesedapan (gituh) sebab ada sup and chicken in it. Wajib order oki. Menu ni we both agree sedap and wajib cuba.

Siew Mai with flower mushroom

Verdict: Sedapppp! Ada udang besaq sekali dalam dimsum ni. I tak sure la siewmai i makan selama ni siewmai jenis apa sebab selama ni ayam je filling yang i makan. Kalini ada udang siap. Ke silap dapat order eh? Sebab i takda rasa mushroom pun. Haha. Tapi.. Memang sedap. Try na!

Chicken dumpling with spicy sauce

Verdict: It was just okay.. Sauce dia pedas manja je. Ada kacang sekali dalam kuah tu. By the way.. Dish ni ada udang tau. Nama je chicken tapi ada campur udang. So hati hati la incase ada yang allergic seafood macam husband i. Dish ni okay lah not bad. Can give it a try oki!

KORANG, NI WAJIB LA ORDER BANYAK BANYAKKKKK

Egg tart

Verdict: Seriously sedap gila. To be honest, im not a fan of egg tart. Sebab i pernah terkena yang rasa horror. This time around I saja je order. Tak sangka turned out to be super good. The shell was flaky (which I like) and the filling was delish. I makan ni last sekaliii which was a bad decision lah sebab i dah kenyang gila waktu ni sebab kalau makan awal boleh order lagi. Hahahahah. Kenyang kenyang pun i managed to eat all (okayla one bite i bagi husband i rasa, aci la kan haha). So please order this one kalau tak for sure menyesal!!

Verdict: Sedapnya mashaAllah. Antara menu terawal yang sampai atas meja. Hubs loves the fish skin, while icha love the porridge. Bertambah tambah dua dua makan. Rasa bubur ni sebijik macam bubur ibu i masak masa i kecik. Korang wajib try k!

Durian puffs

Verdict: Rapuh tapi inti dia bukan durian paste. Tak sure apa but not to our liking. 

Double-boiled peach jelly with red dates

Verdict: It was goood. Order dua kali sebab sejuk sejuk masuk tekak fuhhh nice. You should try this one oki. Ada red dates, jelly, lotus seed dalam dia. Loveeee!

Semua dish yang sampai dekat kami on that day were steaming hot. Memang panas panas from kitchen straight to our table. Kalau yang suka makan panas panas berasap mulut macam i memang akan bagi plus point dekat part ni. Hehehe. Makanan pun semua fresh. Kalau yang pandai rasa food boleh tahu food tu reheat or masak baru. In this case i boleh cakap semuaaa rasa fresh! Loveeee 😍

I puas hati makan sini. The only downside eating here was lepas makan kami ngantuk gila. Jadi daripada misi nak JJCM terus abort mission. Shoot balik rumah and tidur sampai petang! 😆

p/s: Masa nak bayar tu i terkejut la air teh kena bayo jugak. Dua pot pulak tu kami minum haha.

Entry ni dah lama terperuk dalam dashboard. Baru baru ni teringat tentang kedai ni.. Bila google tengok still beroperasi. Terus zassss i karang balik ayat untuk entry alang alang terliur makan ayam geprek haha. Semoga it gives you guys idea jugak incase blur nak makan apa bila you are nearby the area.

Anyway.. I pergi pun dah lama gila dah. Tak silap i last year. Lama kan 😅

Kebetulan pi fotostat dekat area sri serdang (SS) terus ajak husband makan dekat area ni je. Oh sebelum i lupa, SS ni ibarat playground la zaman undergrad dulu. Port lepak, port berchenta pun ye jugak dekat sini. Bila lalu dekat jalan jalan yang biasa lalu dulu memang ibarat going down to the memory lane. Nostalgik sungguh. Nak cari bahan merajuk pun kawasan ni jugak. Kan bang? :p

So bila i google, i ajak la husband i makan dekat  Ayam Geprek Dapur Sari Dewi.

Kedai ni masa kami datang macam baru je beroperasi. Sebab deko dalam semua nampak baru. Tapi tak sure la betul ke idak. Hehe.

Kebetulan orang pun tak ramai dalam kedai, waiting time pun taklah lama. Tapi part nak order pulak kemain lama sebab i ni sejenis cepat rambang mata. Nak rasa semuaaaa kalau boleh! Tapi mestila tak boleh kan. Perut pun ada dua.

Taste-wise okay. 

Ayam geprek:

I request extra pedas with thigh part. Orang takda dalam kedai pun pekerja boleh silap bagi isi jugak. Anyway bagi i pedas sambal dia manja manja je. Husband i kata pedas. Bagi i, tak pedas haha. Ni komen dari hantu pedas ya. Kalau yang tak boleh tolerate pedas tu, jangan request extra pedas oki. 

Bakso kaget:

Biasa only for me. Sambal pun tak pedas for me. Tapi my opinion might vary to you since i penggemar cili padi 😅

It was just okay for me. You guys boleh la try kalau ada dekat area SS oki! 😉

We already went here for few times, and every visit was amazing. This restaurant is located on the ground floor, sebelah Mr Dakgalbi 😊 It is usually packed with customers mainly on weekend, so better avoid weekend lah if possible. Our recent visit was on a weekday night, just nice to celebrate the birthday and enjoy the foods hehe. 

The ambience was cosy enough where we boleh makan relaks relaks. Each food station was not cramped with people. We lepak leisurely, suasana pun tak bising like how it used to be masa I pi last few visits. Rasa macam kena celebrate with peacefulness pulak on my birthday 😆.

The price per pax as stated in their FB page is Rm 45.90++ for adult. But hubs paid RM 110 for 2 adults. Icha free sebab icha baru 3 tahun. I taktau how the calculate sebab bukan i bayar 😛 You need to pay first before you can indulge yourself with all the foods oki? Masa bayar they will ask you to choose your broth. The broth list is in front of the cashier table, ada macam macam jenis so selamat rambang mata hihi. We opt for chicken soup first sebab we nak bagi icha makan kenyang kenyang before we change it to tomyam soup. You can request for a change in the broth flavour only if soup dalam hotpot u da habis, like what we did. No charge required if you change the broth using the same pot. If u nak add new pot with different broth, akan ada new charge. 

Verdict on the broth:

TOMYAM THE BEST. Kitorang makan sambil tersipu sipu sebab sedap haha. Over kan? 😝Tapi serious, rasa tomyam dia still menyengat macam I pernah makan during my husband’s birthday last two years. Cumanya kurang masin pula this time.

The CHICKEN BROTH was okay. I tak expect lah the taste to be this way. I mean kemon mestilah rasa biasa je kan? To be honest the taste extra from biasa. Takdelah sedap gila macam nak menangis. Just nice lah rasa dia, hirup panas panas. Fuhhhhh.

Masa dah nak habis makan baru teringat to snap photos around. Jom cuci mata with the photos 😍

Bahagian goreng goreng ni biasa je, takda yang extra special.

The right side of the picture tu fruits punya part, ada mee udon etc, ada jagung (dah habis at 8pm and they didn’t top up this section), and a few sushi selections.

Waffle ni wajib cuba! Serious sedap. Mintak extra filling sket tau hehe

I tak ingat which perapan yang I ambik for ayam ni, tapi u try jelah everything. Sebab tak silap I tak banyak choices pun for ayam. But this one sedap!

Icha menikmati makanan siap pejam mata. Banyakkk icha makan on that night. 

Sebab birthday, I dapat surprise waffle! Comel kan warna warni? Siap all the worker pasang lagu birthday and nyanyikan sekali.

I taktau apa nama bulat bulat ni. Panaskan kejap je dalam broth and its good to go. I suka rasa dia but hubs didn’t like it. 

Cendol taste was weird. I tak suka haha. But the other one was good! Sedap. Rasa susu with a watermelon slice.

TIPS TERPALING PENTING MASA MAKAN HERE IS JANGAN LUPA ORDER PREMIUM BEEF DEKAT KAUNTER BELAKANG OKI????

Kaunter ni bahagian belakang tau. You nampak board ni, u can order terus from worker yang memang jaga this station.

Kalau tak, anda tergolong dalam kalangan yang rugi :p They provide premium beef plus they sliced it thin enough for you to enjoy it wholeheartedly. Nak kata melt dalam mulut tu nampak macam over kan? But it was seriously good! Just grill for a minute or two and u are good to go. Kitorang memang makan ni je every time we came here 😋

Before ni pernah try the smoked duck. Abalone je tak pernah cuba lagi.

All in all, I will definitely come again sebab kuah tomyam. Kalau ikutkan takdelah banyak sangat variety of foods dekat sini. But definitely worth it to try their tomyam! 💗 oh and their CS pun best!

p/s: the only downside makan here was takda cili padi. Sebagai pengerusi (tetiba lantik diri sendiri) hantu cili padi Malaysia, kami mahukan hak kami! Eh! 😜

JJCM: Andra by Gula Cakery

Last week my sister ajak try Gula Cakery so I pun google and found a few options of Gula Cakery nearby the area. We chose Eco Ardence since it was the nearest plus we (read:I 😋) wanted to see this place. All I knew about Gula Cakery : their biscoff cheesecake is the talk of the town.

Mula mula tu contemplate nak pergi sebab husband ada tution at night. Bila dapat WA from tution centre stated that the class was cancelled due to the Independence Day, terus ajak ke Eco Ardence sepantas kilat. Laju kan sis berfikir? :p

Happy baby with her mango cheesecake

We reached there few mins before 5pm which masa ni still panas terik. Pusing bawah atap pun lencun peluh… Terus cari tempat redup duduk diam diam for a while. Sebelah kawasan ni café tu so my sister and I went to tapao some cakes.

The café was cramped with people. According to the worker, ada 2 birthday party inside so they were pretty packed at that moment. Since we only nak tapao, she let us in to choose our cake.

Ada banyak choickes of cakes, but sadly biscoff cheesecake dah habis. Sad T_T

We choose 2 slices of cakes, which are Mango Cheesecake and Berry Pavlova.

Verdict:

It was just okay. 

I rasa harga for each slice was a bit pricey. Each cake cost RM 17/ slice. Ke harga ni memang normal? Since the taste was just okay, rasa ralat sikit lah to pay with the amount 😅

Mango Cheesecake: Mango dia masam... I prefer mango yang manis to compliment with the cheesecake. But okay lah, sedap juga.

Rate: 7/10

Pavlova Berry: It was just okay. I pernah cuba pavlova yang extra sedap than this one. This one rasa cream between the crust tu a bit bland, kalau manis sikit mesti way better. Ni comment I as a sweet tooth lah. Maybe kalau u suka less sweet, the taste dah ngam for u.

We need to wait outside if tapao ya. 

According to the one who took the order, if you nak avoid crowd datang between 2-4pm. During this time, all cakes are still available and tak chaos like how it felt like yesterday.

You should try kalau u ada within the area oki!
