JJCM Melaka: Jonker 88

Assalamualaikum 💗

I’ve been to this shop for few times dah. The first one was when icha was still a baby. I remember vividly during the first visit I order sebijik dengan apa yang I baca dekat internet. They said about this menu yang kalau tak try memang la rugi weh. So, I ordered it blindly and confidently (sebab I trust that post haha). Last last whole family rejected the menu. Sebab terlampau manis, rasa cendol semua tenggelam. Patah hatiku~~~~ terpaksa habiskan sorang sorang sambil muncung sedepa sebab semua cranky salahkan I beli benda gitu hahaha.

Tapi.. Sebagai seorang yang pencinta makanan yang tak menyerah kalah, I came here again. Kali kedua tu sebab temankan adik I conference dekat melaka. I sebenarnya tak puas hati ya kenapa I ada terbaca a few blog/ig’s/tweet mentioned about how good this place was padahal I try their dessert rasa biasa je pun. Kali kedua tu I try their famous asam laksa. IT WAS GOOD. I guess, I dah jumpa the reason why people love this shop! #misiberjaya 😜

----dan sebab tu, for this recent Malacca trip I dragged my in laws to eat here and they had to lined up unwillingly before we can feast ourself with the foods haha.

Assam laksa (RM 10.50) 

If you love sour food, this is something that match your taste bud. Bukan masam sikit tau, masam extra. It comes with fluffy shrimp as well. I thought nak beli assam laksa without udang for hubs since he’s allergic to seafood, but sadly cannot. Sebab the owner cakap even the kuah laksa oso pakai udang. Sebagai penggemar laksa, I sukaaaa but takdelah suka gila sebab too sour to my liking 😊

Kari laksa (RM 10.50) 

 I tak rasa this menu but my FIL said that it was good. Sama macam assam laksa juga, portion dia besa rya. Kongsi makan berdua pun cukup.

Baba cendol (RM 7.00)

No good response from the audience haha. The same reaction like three years ago which it was too sweet. JADI JANGAN LUPA MINTAK KURANG GULA MELAKA OKI?

Fried fishball noodle (RM 6.00)

Hubs said it was just okay. Takdelah sedap gila, and also takdelah tak sedap at all.

Sebab sup so icha onz. Icha suka makan. Hubs also prefer this one compared to the dried noodles.

This one was sedapness! So we ordered one plate. Harga tak ingat 😅

Okay lah, worth it sebab semua hapi for the foods. Cendol je takda sambutan sebab manis. All in all we enjoy the food. Siap tapau bawak balik oki hehe.

JJCM Melaka: Sup Lembu Tangkak Melaka & Soya Bukit Cina

Last week.. my family and I went to Melaka and we found new places for JJCM.. I nak share it here with you guys yang suka macam makan I jugak hehe. Since I went to Melaka on weekday, jalan memang smooth ya amat. I am definitely happy! If u know u know lah how busy Melaka can be during weekend and public holiday.

We depart from Kajang around 10 am, and reach melaka perfectly for lunch. I dah siap siap kata dekat husband yang I takmau makan nasi sebab tak lalu. I nak makan sup yang pedas dan panas panas pls. haha. So our first pitstop is…..

SUP LEMBU TANGKAK, MELAKA

This restaurant has been in my list like forever. I nak sangat makan sini sebab review mostly kata sedap. Sebagai pencinta sup mestilah I wonder kesedapan dia cane. Hehe. But I always delay it sebab I thought kedai ni dekat tangkak (according to the name :p). Tah cane I tergerak hari nak google alamat kedai ni last week (sebab kalau dekat tangkak I nak ajak husband I lajak tangkak dulu hahahahahaha halu husband!), and surprisingly kedai ni dkt MELAKA. Omg, kenapa I baru terfikir nak google alamat ni????? Tersengih happy I sebab like finally I can try their food after yearsss this restaurant dalam my list to JJCM.

Ada few menus you can choose from whether nak fried noodles/kueytiaw/rice or mee/kueytiaw/bihun soup. Ada dua size which is medium dengan large. Beza RM2 which I notice on the last day I makan hahaha. So better order large sebab can share 😊

MY HONEST REVIEW: MASHA ALLAH SEDAP GILAAAAA, tambah lagi makan masa panas panas sup tu. Add their ginger chilies yang super pedas tu buat jadi lagi extra sedap! We ordered both beef ball and mixed beef noodles memang sedap. You guys should give it a try! Price wise is a bit pricey, sebab one regular bowl cost u rm10.50/rm9.50. But definitely worth every penny gittew hehe. Di sebabkan I dah jatuh cinta with the noodles, esoknya we ate lunch here jugak before balik. Siap tapau ok. Haha. But definitely makan dekat kedai sedap lagi. Dah tapau tak kick sangat rasa dia.

Even icha pun suka their soup. Siap hirup oki?!! hahaha. So you guys wajib try juga!

SOYA BUKIT CINA

After makan berat, its dessert time hehe. I cakap dekat husband jum makan tau fu fa and minum air soya dekat bukit cina. I purposely nak pergi stall tepi jalan not the other one. This stall is famous with their ginger (halia) menu. Tau fu fa with ginger and soya with ginger. Tapi sebab I bukanlah pencinta halia, I opt for the original flavor jelah haha. Kang tak pasal takleh nak telan since I read some review kata if we add ginger rasa dia manis pedas. Can u imagine? I can’t and I taknak buat eksperimen tu 😅

Since it was raining cat and dog on that day, we drive thru je tepi stall diorang. Bukak tingkap and order. But if u go on weekend memang tak dapat lah ya, sebab for sure jammed with loads of car dekat bahu jalan. 

By the way.. You can choose the tau fu fah and soya size. Nak sejuk or panas pun boleh inform them. I pilih dua dua small one. The price is RM 2.50 each.

MY HONEST REVIEW: Okay lah 👍 nak kata sedap gila tu takdelah ya. As i say above,  i prefer air gula tau fu fa to be lebih manis sebab i pencinta benda manis haha. but ni pun dah okay dah. As for the price, its above normal one. But since it is located dekat tourist attraction, the price boleh di terima. Tapi if you peminat ginger, maybe you can try their special menu. You might like it! kan?

1. Cendol jam besar dan air tembikai

Ibu beli Cendol durian which cost her rm5 and air tembikai ; rm10. basically for air tembikai, we can choose the watermelon size. the price was from the size of the watermelon. service was quite okay. the owner warmly greet us when we come to his stall. 

Verdict: I didn't taste the cendol. but ibu said it was just okay. but she will not repeat for it again after this. as for watermelon drink, it is worth the experience? the taste was just ok. for the sake of trying and totally an Instagram worthy? haha. ada je few other places yang I jumpa jual tembikai ni. even jonker walk pun ada.

2. Asam pedas claypot

Banyak baca review dari Google cakap we should try this asam pedas. so we just give it a try. we ordered asam pedas Ikan kembung, asam pedas Ikan pari and asam pedas isi (lupa nama apa). with Milo ais and teh o ais. oh and a basket of keropok for munching masa tunggu order siap. sebenarnya opposite kedai ni ada satu kedai nama sebijik sama, but open at different hours. jadi i predict, that restaurant open at evening kot?

Verdict: we don't like the taste. weird taste of asam pedas I can say? maybe we put high expectation for it, but it turns out to be the other way round. huhu. not going to this restaurant ever again hehe. total bill was rm32.

3. Batu berendam coconut shake & kuih keria gula melaka

Kononnya datang sini sebab nak elak queue panjang dekat klebang coconut shake original. heard that the taste was actually better than klebang. so we ordered 3 coconut shake and rm3 kuih keria (6 pcs). Kalau makan sini ada free flow air kelapa dan air longan :)

Verdict: aaaaaa I don't like it! tak rasa langsung coconut shake. all I can taste was vanilla ice cream? maybe they put too much of ice cream until the coconut flavour went MIA. hehe. my hubs didn't like the kuih keria. so I guess, no more batu berendam shake shake experience after this? hehe. total bill for coconut shake was rm13.

4. Coconut shake pantai klebang.

Actually, I had been deceived by this stall. haha. I thought this was the original coconut shake klebang. so I want to have a sip of the shake sebab semalam dah bad experience dengan batu berendam. nak recovery pills la konon. it turns out ni bukan the original one. haha. yakin tau I ni.

Verdict: nasib rasanya way better than yesterday. my sister daripada nak share terus request for another coconut shake sebab sedap. hehe. ayah I nak air kelapa kosong without gula but blended. can u geddit? nasibla adik stall tu layankan je. hehe. air kelapa kosong rm2.00, coconut shake rm2.50. you can try it :) banyak je kedai coconut shake depan pantai klebang ni, pilihlaa yang mana satu idaman kalbu~~

5. Klebang coconut shake original

Sebenarnya misi mencari minum petang with husband. and I request nak klebang coconut shake original pls! hehe. nasibla husband melayan je request si isteri. maka dapatla si isteri minum coconut shake sedap sambil tersenyum! kehkeh. eventho queue agak panjang sebab cuti, kedai ni sangatla efisien. sat ja dapat bungkuih. If nak makan dekat situ, kena masuk kedai bahagian dalam ok? kedai dekat tepi jalan ni memang khas untuk bungkus je.

Verdict: mestilaaaa sedap! dah dua kali minum, dua dua Kali tak mengecewakan. I love the taste. vanilla ice cream tak took over the taste. so much love in one cup. hehe. before this i minum coconut shake biasa, harga rm2.70. but masa I pergi tu just ada coconut shake special, which cost rm3.20 per cup rasanya. lupa dah sebab sedap sgt :p

6. 88 jonker Street

I nak sangat datang sebab banyak review kata sedap asam laksa and cendol kedai ni. siap ada yang review kata ais kisar kedai ni lembut macam snow ok? fehhh I bila baca review gitu haruslah mudah terpengaruh! hahaha. dahla masa I datang tu malam tau, packed gila kedai ni! Even ada customer yang makan sambil berdiri. so I happy la siap terdetik "mesti sedap betul ni orang makan siap berdiri sebab full house". Tapau ais cendol since full house.

Verdict: tak sedap! hahahaha. di manakah snow itu?!!!! tipah tertipu. maybe I pernah try cendol yang much much better than this, so I memang kata cendol kedai ni tak kena dengan taste I. hehe. but still i mampu la habiskan even semua family member i taknak minum cendol ni. i habiskan jela sorang sorang wahaha padan muka sapa suruh cepat terpengaruh. total bill was rm4 kalau tak silap.

7. Restoran Pak Putra (Roti Naan)

My impression masa sampai, kedai ni penuh Gila dengan orang. semua meja fully booked and there was even people waiting for table. We ordered nasi lemak, roti Naan cheese, triple Naan cheese and tandoori chicken.

Verdict: Bad experience started from the waiter to the customer as well. my father politely asked to joint the table sebab one table was totally not enough for our family. but suddenly he rise his voice saying that if we opened another table we will blocked the road. FYI, ayah I tak tinggikan suara at all masa he request tu. then, yang ambik order pun tak senyum at all, ambik order in rush, push us to ordered fast (I faham je kedai ramai orang so they need to work fast, but pls be polite thats what matters, plus not everyone was your loyal customer. macam weol this were our first time datang, so we basically had no idea at all how to order etc). even customer pun takda manner. adik i ambik kerusi from one table since customer baru bangun without knowing dah ada family tunggu meja tu. and suddenly ada makcik ni jerit to my sister cakap tu kerusi dia kenapa ambik dia dah cop lama dah. OMG. seriously makcik? where is your manner? tertinggal dekat rumah ke? can't u said properly to my sister without yelled? malu je. lepastu ayah I malas nak dengar and entertained her behavior, ayah I suruh adik I hantar balik kerusi tu. maybe makcik tu malu dia duduk belakangkan our family. but my SIL terdengar dia masih tak puas hati and bising bising masa kitorang nak balik. teruk betul perangai makcik tu. Bad experience betul. BTW, nasi lemak tak sedap. full stop. nasib ayam tandoori super sedap! aaaaaa tak tipu. sedapppp. roti Naan pun sedap. I punya triple cheese. fehhh, puas makan! hehe. total bill was RM71.

8. Kuih keria haji jalil limbongan & laksa penang

Macam biasa sampai kedai ni sebab #Viral la apa lagi kan. Dalam 100m from this stall ada another hajah rahmah kuih keria. hajah rahmah ni anak kepada haji jalil (I tau sebab tanya pekerja kedai hajah rahmah tu siapa. I dok wonder sorang sorang, sebab I ingat hajah rahmah tu hj jalil punya wife hehe). masa sampai, kedai still tak jual keria but dah ada queue yang nak beli this keria.

Verdict: kuih keria rasa dia biasa je. nothing special. my husband kata I buat lagi sedap. haha. kitorang tunggu lama jugak, tapi tak beratur sebab nak makan situ and tapau some to bawak balik. we waited nearly 1 hour ok? sebab masa masuk kereta nak balik tu jam dah dekat pukul 1 ptg. huhu. service kedai ni teruk. pelanggan ramai. tp pekerja tak cukup untuk cater all the customers. yang ada isteri hj jalil je yang entertain all the customers yg nak bungkus or makan situ. bila I request 30 pcs untuk makan and tapau, boleh pulak bini hj jalil ni tengking I depan orang ramai cakap banyaknya nak makan. I balas yang kitorang ramai masa tu dkt meja of course la banyak. takkan sorang sebiji je boleh makan? and takkan tak boleh tapau? dia kata dia boleh bg 10 pcs je not more than that. I malas nak argue, I pi borak dgn makcik laksa sementara tunggu keria. tapi pls try laksa! sedapppp! I tak tipu. sebagai hantu laksa, I rasa berbaloi dtg sini sebab laksa je. bukan keria. masa I nak bayar pun bini hj jalil ni marah I suruh tunggu sebab dia dok sibuk dengan org yg queue nak beli keria. omg Sgt. nightmare betul jumpa owner kedai perangai macamni. memangla tak dtg dah kot for keria? sebab rasa biasa je sebenarnya. cuma bila dah viral mestilaaaa nak try kan. but if u guys still nak try, just go to hajah rahmah limbongan stall. queue kedai ni tak panjang. resepi sama je pekerja kedai ni bgtau I.

9. Roti Canai Kayu Arang

On the way nak pergi kedai ni I waze je, and we need to u-turn before sampai. Before u turn tu, i nampak la this one stall yang penuh gila pelanggan, siap kereta penuh dekat bahu jalan. i dah macam eh kenapa ramai sangat ni? rupa rupanya tu la kedai yang i dengan husband nk pergiiiii haha. Masa ni dah cakap dah dengan husband, no need la makan sini. Jum cari kedai lain je, sebab serious sangat penuh. but my husband kata takpe, jum je makan sini. So we ordered and i asked my husband duduk dalam kereta je with Sofia sebab kedai ni panas gila crowded ya amat.

Verdict: Okayla roti canai dia, i makan masa dah sejuk pun tak keras kejung roti canai ni. Still lembut. So i rasa okay la kan? Nasi lemak kedai ni pun sedap. ig u plan nak datang, pls order nasi lemak with sambal paru! OMG. Sedap. i makan dalam kereta with husband pun tak puas. haha. lepastu marah diri sendiri sebab order sambal paru satu set je :p oh and WAJIB ORDER ROTI NACHOS. Ibu, adik, SIL all gave green light to this menu! sebab sedap. u guys should try :) cuma biasala datang kedai viral macamni, kesabaran tu haruslah tinggi menggunung. sebab orang terlalu ramai. i tapau pun tunggu for about 1/2 jam hehe.

p/s: Ni semua based on my own experience masa I pergi melaka haritu. Maybe masa I pergi kedai tu dorang semua PMS kot? haha. Itu sebab asyikla dapat bad service. among all yang I list out ni, u definitely should try coconut shake klebang original ok? :)
