Asam pedas Perhentian Ujong pasir, Melaka

Lama tak singgah menulis dekat sini. Kerja hakiki dekat ofis menimbun tak sempat mak nak tarik nafas. Lepas satu satu kijo mak kena settle ngalahkan boss. Eh. Membebel sini pulak eh ko. Haha. Niat asal nak sambung cerita ke melaka. Apa pulak la sis makan kali ni eh. Setiap kali ke Melaka, list kedai makan panjang berjela sampai husband i amazed cmenae i boleh dapat senarai kedai makan ni haha. Kalau berjalan dengan sis confirm takkan blur nak makan mana 😋

Anyway.. Kalini try makan Asam pedas Perhentian Ujong pasir, Melaka. Recommended by my contest friend Seha. Thanks babe!

Sebelum ni i singgah kedai ni tapau kuih je. Banyak gila choices kuih dekat sini. Penggemar kuih melayu macam i dengan icha memang suka laaaaa. Siap rambang mata haha. Cumanya.. Tak pernah perasan langsung asam pedas dekat kedai ni walaupun setiap kali dtg kedai ni memang penuh dengan manusia. Ke sis memang sejenis tak pandang kiri kanan eh?! 😅 So lepas dapat suggestion, i ajak husband lunch sini. Musim musim covid ni, i takut sikit nak makan kedai yang ramai org. Kedai ni on that day memang cramped with people. Maka moh le tapau makan dekat hotel je oki.

Laksa (beli dari kedai lain tapi tak sedap sis emo)

Ni asam pedas ikan pari. MashAllah sedapppp. Kena dengan tekak kami. Takda rasa asam pedas yang pelik (which i cannot explain in words lah asam pedas pelik tu macamana tapi kalau korang makan asam pedas tak sedap mesti emo haha). Ikan pari sedap and fresh! I always terkena ikan pari rasa weird tau. So dekat sini i bagi tambahan bintang dekat ikan pari  hehe. Cukup rasa masam pedas semua. Korang boleh try k!

Lagi satu asam pedas we try was asam pedas daging tetel. This one was mine. Sebenarnya i nak asam pedas telur mayong sadly dekat sini takda jual. Kempunan i sampai today (kena repeat melaka lagi ni nampak gaya 😆). Anyway asam pedas ni pun sedap. daging dia cair dalam mulut gitu. Lembut and kuah dia pun sedap. 

If I kena choose between these two, I akan choose daging tetel lah. Love it!

Oh lupa, lepastu i ada add on sayur. I order kangkung belacan. Yang i dapat was sedikit kangkung with sedikit kobis dan carrot. More like sayur campur to me. Portion dia pun sikitttt. Tapi sebab the taste was okay, and we weere hungry habis di makan walalupun dok wonder haha.

Sebenarnya i dah tak ingat berapa harga semua ni in total. Tapi owner ada tampal siap siap dah harga dekat kaunter kedai masa nak order. So bolehla refer siap siap oki. We definitely will repeat incase ada telur mayong in the future. If not, kena makan kedai lain lah. Sebab melaka ni ada beratus kedai asam pedas nak kena try. kalau asyik repeat the same kedai rasa rugi pulak trip ke melaka. Logik kan? Siapa boleh relate macam i? 😆

p/s: Ayam golek beli dekat stall di kedai perhentian ujong pasir jugak. Kedai ni ada konsep stall stall kecik. I beli ayam golek dekat pakcik ni. Murahh tapi i lupa harga....again haha. I ambik ayam separuh and it was so good. Juicy betul ayamnya. Sedapppp. Berbaloi beli! This one oso can try oki.

JJCM Melaka: Jonker 88

I’ve been to this shop for few times dah. The first one was when icha was still a baby. I remember vividly during the first visit I order sebijik dengan apa yang I baca dekat internet. They said about this menu yang kalau tak try memang la rugi weh. So, I ordered it blindly and confidently (sebab I trust that post haha). Last last whole family rejected the menu. Sebab terlampau manis, rasa cendol semua tenggelam. Patah hatiku~~~~ terpaksa habiskan sorang sorang sambil muncung sedepa sebab semua cranky salahkan I beli benda gitu hahaha.

Tapi.. Sebagai seorang yang pencinta makanan yang tak menyerah kalah, I came here again. Kali kedua tu sebab temankan adik I conference dekat melaka. I sebenarnya tak puas hati ya kenapa I ada terbaca a few blog/ig’s/tweet mentioned about how good this place was padahal I try their dessert rasa biasa je pun. Kali kedua tu I try their famous asam laksa. IT WAS GOOD. I guess, I dah jumpa the reason why people love this shop! #misiberjaya 😜

----dan sebab tu, for this recent Malacca trip I dragged my in laws to eat here and they had to lined up unwillingly before we can feast ourself with the foods haha.

Assam laksa (RM 10.50) 

If you love sour food, this is something that match your taste bud. Bukan masam sikit tau, masam extra. It comes with fluffy shrimp as well. I thought nak beli assam laksa without udang for hubs since he’s allergic to seafood, but sadly cannot. Sebab the owner cakap even the kuah laksa oso pakai udang. Sebagai penggemar laksa, I sukaaaa but takdelah suka gila sebab too sour to my liking 😊

Kari laksa (RM 10.50) 

 I tak rasa this menu but my FIL said that it was good. Sama macam assam laksa juga, portion dia besa rya. Kongsi makan berdua pun cukup.

Baba cendol (RM 7.00)

No good response from the audience haha. The same reaction like three years ago which it was too sweet. JADI JANGAN LUPA MINTAK KURANG GULA MELAKA OKI?

Fried fishball noodle (RM 6.00)

Hubs said it was just okay. Takdelah sedap gila, and also takdelah tak sedap at all.

Sebab sup so icha onz. Icha suka makan. Hubs also prefer this one compared to the dried noodles.

This one was sedapness! So we ordered one plate. Harga tak ingat 😅

Okay lah, worth it sebab semua hapi for the foods. Cendol je takda sambutan sebab manis. All in all we enjoy the food. Siap tapau bawak balik oki hehe.

JJCM Melaka: Muara Sungai Duyung

Assalamualaikum 💗

Early last month, we went to Melaka.. This time around was with my in-laws. Melaka is one of the state yang kami laki bini terpaling suka nak visit. Setiap kali datang we tried to escape the hectic weekend traffic. Maka kali ni, kami datang on Thursday and Friday! Memang best lah cite dieeeee. Jalan tak jem langsung dan kitorang pi anywhere smooth je. Siap boleh parking dekat attraction area hehe.

Oh by the way, I ada pi few places yang best for this visit. For this entry, I nak share tempat yang kami makan on the first night when we arrived. Masa ni we were in a thorn in between the three choices. But in the end, we choose this place. 

Was it worth it? 

Anyway.. We should come here as early as we can for dins. Tapi sebab semua masih kenyang, lepas maghrib baru bertolak datang sini. Result dia……. Menyesal. Haha. Ramai gila ya orang. Siap kena beratur dekat luar kedai. Kedai ni dah la memang besaq tau. Imagine lah it was full house that night. Phew. Husband I bukan kaki menunggu, so he hinted me to ate dinner somewhere else. Being me, im not someone who easily give up. Tambah lagi soal makanan. Makanya I said I nak jugak makan sini eventho ramai :p

Tunggu giliran nak dapatkan meja, kedai mainan dekat tepi ni berhantu ok.. Tengok bawah i cerita.

Icha is not someone yang akan buat perangai sebab mainan. tah apa jadi, that night merambu ayaq mata sebab nak jugak beli mainan dekat sini. Adoi. Ni baru nak mula drama. Mata dah start berkaca. So icha ke ibu yang menang?

SOP

Masa ni masih PKPP in Malaysia, one week after terus few states in Malaysia kena PKPB balik. Kedai ni pun patuh SOP, siap ada scanner for temperature and QR code. 

After few minutes beratur, dapat seat. Kedai ni system layan diri ya. Kena beratur untuk pilih seafood.

Ikan kembung RM 9.10/ Hat paling lambat sampai. Di sebabkan i paling lambat start makan, I la kena habiskan lauk ni hehe. Nasib sedap. ikan dia manis betui.

Ikan pari RM 21.00/ Ikan pari sedap. Sambal salut ikan was quite nice. Ikan pari ni takda bau pelik. Isi dia sedap!

Sepahat RM 12.00/ I pernah makan masa zaman matriks. It was 10 years ago. Haha. i still remember that i dont quite fancy the taste but that night i kena habiskan everything sebab everyone else also tak suka 😅

Sayur kangkong belacan RM 6.00/ this one was worth it. Pls la order 2 pinggan. Sepinggan je tak cukup. Sekian.

Sotong goreng tepung RM 24.00/ Ini adalah bintang malam tu. Sedap ya. Icha pun suka. Banyak makan. Tapi lagi sedap sotong celup tepung bestari. eh 😜

Nasi RM 1.20 / pinggan. 

OUR EXPERIENCE:

The taste was okay. Takdelah sedap macam nak gila. Tapi ikan dia fresh! Manissss je isi ikan. Kami tak dapat air asam pun sampai nak habis makan. Bila mintak baru dapat... I guess sebab ramai sangat orang datang. 

The taste was just okay. Manis. For someone hantu pedas like me, tak berapa kick lah hehe.

They cooked everything cepat jugak for us. I rasa lepas dah pilih semua makanan it took about 15 mins before the foods arrived our table. Okay lah kan? Harga makanan pun quite okay. For all the foods above, caj masak dia RM 3.50 je in total. Untuk 6 dewasa with 1 kid, it cost us RM 98.80 with 6% service tax 😊

Oh jap I lupa. I ada satu cerita.

Part ni paling kelakar eh. Ada orang randomly letak kacang atas meja. My FIL terus makan kacang tu sebab dia ingat kudap kudap owner kedai bagi sebab menunggu. Tapi bitter truth dia, pinggan kecik tu sebenarnya kena bayar k! hahahaha. I dah agakkk dah kena bayar. Bila I terbalikkan mangkuk kacang tu I nampak selotepe tulis RM 2. Bijak dorng lekat harga bawah mangkuk gitu. 

Tak teringat nak ambik gambar that ‘precious kacang”. Nanti jangan terkejut pulak bila dalam resit ada terselit kacang rm2 dalam tu 😆

JJCM Melaka: Sup Lembu Tangkak Melaka & Soya Bukit Cina

Last week.. my family and I went to Melaka and we found new places for JJCM.. I nak share it here with you guys yang suka macam makan I jugak hehe. Since I went to Melaka on weekday, jalan memang smooth ya amat. I am definitely happy! If u know u know lah how busy Melaka can be during weekend and public holiday.

We depart from Kajang around 10 am, and reach melaka perfectly for lunch. I dah siap siap kata dekat husband yang I takmau makan nasi sebab tak lalu. I nak makan sup yang pedas dan panas panas pls. haha. So our first pitstop is…..

SUP LEMBU TANGKAK, MELAKA

This restaurant has been in my list like forever. I nak sangat makan sini sebab review mostly kata sedap. Sebagai pencinta sup mestilah I wonder kesedapan dia cane. Hehe. But I always delay it sebab I thought kedai ni dekat tangkak (according to the name :p). Tah cane I tergerak hari nak google alamat kedai ni last week (sebab kalau dekat tangkak I nak ajak husband I lajak tangkak dulu hahahahahaha halu husband!), and surprisingly kedai ni dkt MELAKA. Omg, kenapa I baru terfikir nak google alamat ni????? Tersengih happy I sebab like finally I can try their food after yearsss this restaurant dalam my list to JJCM.

Ada few menus you can choose from whether nak fried noodles/kueytiaw/rice or mee/kueytiaw/bihun soup. Ada dua size which is medium dengan large. Beza RM2 which I notice on the last day I makan hahaha. So better order large sebab can share 😊

MY HONEST REVIEW: MASHA ALLAH SEDAP GILAAAAA, tambah lagi makan masa panas panas sup tu. Add their ginger chilies yang super pedas tu buat jadi lagi extra sedap! We ordered both beef ball and mixed beef noodles memang sedap. You guys should give it a try! Price wise is a bit pricey, sebab one regular bowl cost u rm10.50/rm9.50. But definitely worth every penny gittew hehe. Di sebabkan I dah jatuh cinta with the noodles, esoknya we ate lunch here jugak before balik. Siap tapau ok. Haha. But definitely makan dekat kedai sedap lagi. Dah tapau tak kick sangat rasa dia.

Even icha pun suka their soup. Siap hirup oki?!! hahaha. So you guys wajib try juga!

SOYA BUKIT CINA

After makan berat, its dessert time hehe. I cakap dekat husband jum makan tau fu fa and minum air soya dekat bukit cina. I purposely nak pergi stall tepi jalan not the other one. This stall is famous with their ginger (halia) menu. Tau fu fa with ginger and soya with ginger. Tapi sebab I bukanlah pencinta halia, I opt for the original flavor jelah haha. Kang tak pasal takleh nak telan since I read some review kata if we add ginger rasa dia manis pedas. Can u imagine? I can’t and I taknak buat eksperimen tu 😅

Since it was raining cat and dog on that day, we drive thru je tepi stall diorang. Bukak tingkap and order. But if u go on weekend memang tak dapat lah ya, sebab for sure jammed with loads of car dekat bahu jalan. 

By the way.. You can choose the tau fu fah and soya size. Nak sejuk or panas pun boleh inform them. I pilih dua dua small one. The price is RM 2.50 each.

MY HONEST REVIEW: Okay lah 👍 nak kata sedap gila tu takdelah ya. As i say above,  i prefer air gula tau fu fa to be lebih manis sebab i pencinta benda manis haha. but ni pun dah okay dah. As for the price, its above normal one. But since it is located dekat tourist attraction, the price boleh di terima. Tapi if you peminat ginger, maybe you can try their special menu. You might like it! kan?
