Busan: Haeundae Beach

Assalamualaikum 💗

Its time for Busan Edition! Too many places to visit, but so little time. If only I can show you guys macamana hecticnya our schedule in Busan.. fuh, rasa macam buat running man version sendiri pulak with running and everything 😅

We were actually hunting for the famous porridge that was known Halal for Muslim before we came to this beach. Sadly, masa kami sampai situ, kedai tu tengah waktu rehat. But since we were in rush, we decided to visit another place. In which, sampai sekarang rasa menyesal. Kenapa takda kesabaran nak tunggu oi?! haha. Tapi sebab dah sampai dekat area situ, we decided to spend our time here sekejap..

We let our sister decide nak pergi beach mana satu. Sebab ada banyakkkk sangat pilihan yang menarik untuk stroll around... but finally, we agree with Haeundae beach because of the seafood yang kami nak try. Beach ni yang paling dekat.. Yang lain semua jauh. By the way, the Busan itinerary was planned by my sister. So, we just followed whatever she said haha. Best betul eh berjalan bila orang lain yang planned everything :p

We went here dah lewat petang. It was so cold at that time. Angin kuat, and it was flooded with a lot of other people as well. Icha seronok betul masa sampai sini. Siap main pasir weh sejuk sejuk macamtu. We let her play for a little while before cabut lari sebab kesejukan. Bertambah tambah lapar with that kind of weather haha.

Pantai dia bersih.. No weird smell. Takda sampah bersepah sana sini.

Worth our 50 mins journey for sure. Disebabkan sampai a bit late, tak sempat nak café hopping around the area eventho that was our planned at first. Since dah lapar, werus shoot for dins! Was it worth it? Nanti I share on next post 😉

By the way, this is the direction:

Haeundae Station (line 2, exit 3/5). 5 mins walk dari station to the beach. We were a bit puzzled with the direction at first. As usual, Naver maps helps a lot! Dari Busan station, it took around 50 mins to reach Haeundae.

One year ago – TODAY

I nak share a few of our many first time things that we did last year. Looking back at all these photos surely bring back all those memories. Ahhh.. Those feeling. Masih segar dalam ingatan.

Paling best is. This was our first time to travel oversea. Just the three of us. We planned everything from scratch. I mean, I planned the itinerary lah. Hahah. Luckily it turned out pretty okay eventho there was hiccup everywhere.

Its not all sweet for sure. Mestila ada benda yang tak best jadi kan? But I nak ingat benda manis manis jeeeee. Kalau sebut hat tak manis nanti, spoil terus mood hehe. 

Ya Allah, moga ada rezeki kami lagi inshaAllah.

Korean Air – Foods and experience

This is among the first thing that I wanted to share here right after I sampai korea. Bila scroll thru all the photos baru I teringat yang I belum share lagi rupanya. I draft my experience/ how to book the tickets inside my phone notes last year but notes tu dah takda there. So sad. I will write with whatever memory that left behind jelah? So.. Forgive my post-pregnancy brain (alasan eh? Dah dekat 4 tahun bersalin still guna alasan sama :p) Serious serious. Let me share here are some of our experience with Korean air 😊

We should depart from the airport around 10 ish something at night but they reschedule to 11pm+. I was totally okay with that sebab I fikir senang sikit icha nak tidur sebab memang masa depart tu waktu tidur icha. But oh boy I was wrong! Haha. she was sooo excited when we were onboard.

SHE FINISHED ALMOST ONE WHOLE MOVIE BEFORE SHE FINALLY FALLS ASLEEP.  PHEW.

This was her first time taking a plane, and it took 6 hours before we reached seoul. Mula mula I ingat she will fall asleep right from the beginning until we reach Seoul. Tapi tidak ya. Dah tidur ada drama pulak nak baring macam tidur dekat rumah. But surely la tak selesa kan.. 

Ni okay sat lena. Kadang jaga balik. Tutup ekon hangat, bukak ekon sejuk. Maka on off jela kerja i that night haha.

Icha merengek jugak sikit sikit even tidur baring. So, I change to whatever position that suits her. Kadang tidur berpeluk. Kadang nak baring. I layankan je, last last sampai ke sudah I tak tidur. I rasa I terlelap tak sampai sejam sebab si kecik ni. Tapi sebab I was too excited, I tak rasa mengantuk. Normal kan? :p

Masuk je dalam plane, dekat seat dah siap prepare with selimut, headphone and all basic necessities. The stewardess siap provide icha with toys and a special headset. She even can bring them back home! Best kan? 

We chose the Korean Air lepas we compare with other airlines.  One of my main priorities bila I cari flight is halal food. 

KOREAN AIR PROVIDES HALAL FOOD! 

So I guess it’s a big yay for us. I baca few recommendations from the previous passenger about this airline, tu yang buat I lagi tertarik to try 😉 During beli ticket, bahagian meal tu u request for halal meal oki? We encounter problem masa nak isi first and last name, so we called Korean Air CS and they assisted us right away. Oh ya! You can recline your seat & ada space in front of you for you to straighten your leg sikit. Takdelah selesa macam dekat rumah but it was okay. I tak expect it to be this way since I dah put in mind the seat will be cramped like usual. 

By the way... this was the only airline yang I pernah naik to travel oversea. So, I tak boleh nak compare with another airline. If domestic flight tu ada several airlines I pernah naik, but mostly sempit and rasa suffocate.

Ini adalah cinta. Ka sebab i rindu nasi after 2 weeks tak makan lauk melayu? haha so good!

Masa pergi, food was served as a breakfast. I think kitorang dapat makan dalam pukul 4/5 am (3/4 am Malaysia time). Awal kan? Haha. Hubs suka food masa pergi (he even helps me to finished my food haha). I suka foods balik lagi (I habiskan food icha hahahah :p) eventho sedih tinggalkan korea. Hehe.

Sebelum I lupa, ± 1 hour sebelum sampai they will distribute the declaration form untuk di isi. Wajib isi ya this thing. Pls isi betul betul. During our visit last year, masa tu tengah kalut with ramai Malaysian tak lepas masuk sebab issue other Malaysian yang overstay/ kerja secara haram. I rasa untuk prevent jadi lagi teruk, they randomly ask question to everyone dekat airport macam duduk hotel mana, dtg dengan siapa, stay berapa lama etc. make sure you know the answer. And make sure you already book your stay, if not lagi susah nanti. Kalau tak you will be asked tonnes of other question. I siap buat Q&A with hubs to ensure he knows what to answer. Nervous masa ni. Eventho tak buat salah apa, tetap risau kalau tiba tiba kena randomly tarik tepi.

I share here terus ya for 3 pax return tickets here. I beli from Traveloka about one year before the trip. Refer gambar bawah ni to know the price oki?

We definitely love this Airline services! Best life experience. You should try it too oki? 

Pak John steamboat, IOI City Mall Putrajaya

We already went here for few times, and every visit was amazing. This restaurant is located on the ground floor, sebelah Mr Dakgalbi 😊 It is usually packed with customers mainly on weekend, so better avoid weekend lah if possible. Our recent visit was on a weekday night, just nice to celebrate the birthday and enjoy the foods hehe. 

The ambience was cosy enough where we boleh makan relaks relaks. Each food station was not cramped with people. We lepak leisurely, suasana pun tak bising like how it used to be masa I pi last few visits. Rasa macam kena celebrate with peacefulness pulak on my birthday 😆.

The price per pax as stated in their FB page is Rm 45.90++ for adult. But hubs paid RM 110 for 2 adults. Icha free sebab icha baru 3 tahun. I taktau how the calculate sebab bukan i bayar 😛 You need to pay first before you can indulge yourself with all the foods oki? Masa bayar they will ask you to choose your broth. The broth list is in front of the cashier table, ada macam macam jenis so selamat rambang mata hihi. We opt for chicken soup first sebab we nak bagi icha makan kenyang kenyang before we change it to tomyam soup. You can request for a change in the broth flavour only if soup dalam hotpot u da habis, like what we did. No charge required if you change the broth using the same pot. If u nak add new pot with different broth, akan ada new charge. 

Verdict on the broth:

TOMYAM THE BEST. Kitorang makan sambil tersipu sipu sebab sedap haha. Over kan? 😝Tapi serious, rasa tomyam dia still menyengat macam I pernah makan during my husband’s birthday last two years. Cumanya kurang masin pula this time.

The CHICKEN BROTH was okay. I tak expect lah the taste to be this way. I mean kemon mestilah rasa biasa je kan? To be honest the taste extra from biasa. Takdelah sedap gila macam nak menangis. Just nice lah rasa dia, hirup panas panas. Fuhhhhh.

Masa dah nak habis makan baru teringat to snap photos around. Jom cuci mata with the photos 😍

Food station, bahagian sayuran dan perapan. Okay lah, ada variety for u to choose from.

Bahagian goreng goreng ni biasa je, takda yang extra special.

The right side of the picture tu fruits punya part, ada mee udon etc, ada jagung (dah habis at 8pm and they didn’t top up this section), and a few sushi selections.

Waffle ni wajib cuba! Serious sedap. Mintak extra filling sket tau hehe

I tak ingat which perapan yang I ambik for ayam ni, tapi u try jelah everything. Sebab tak silap I tak banyak choices pun for ayam. But this one sedap!

Icha menikmati makanan siap pejam mata. Banyakkk icha makan on that night. 

Sebab birthday, I dapat surprise waffle! Comel kan warna warni? Siap all the worker pasang lagu birthday and nyanyikan sekali.

I taktau apa nama bulat bulat ni. Panaskan kejap je dalam broth and its good to go. I suka rasa dia but hubs didn’t like it. 

Cendol taste was weird. I tak suka haha. But the other one was good! Sedap. Rasa susu with a watermelon slice.

TIPS TERPALING PENTING MASA MAKAN HERE IS JANGAN LUPA ORDER PREMIUM BEEF DEKAT KAUNTER BELAKANG OKI????

Kaunter ni bahagian belakang tau. You nampak board ni, u can order terus from worker yang memang jaga this station.

Kalau tak, anda tergolong dalam kalangan yang rugi :p They provide premium beef plus they sliced it thin enough for you to enjoy it wholeheartedly. Nak kata melt dalam mulut tu nampak macam over kan? But it was seriously good! Just grill for a minute or two and u are good to go. Kitorang memang makan ni je every time we came here 😋

Before ni pernah try the smoked duck. Abalone je tak pernah cuba lagi.

All in all, I will definitely come again sebab kuah tomyam. Kalau ikutkan takdelah banyak sangat variety of foods dekat sini. But definitely worth it to try their tomyam! 💗 oh and their CS pun best!

p/s: the only downside makan here was takda cili padi. Sebagai pengerusi (tetiba lantik diri sendiri) hantu cili padi Malaysia, kami mahukan hak kami! Eh! 😜
